Mawlana ( Arabic: مولانا - patron, protector ) is an Islamic religious title common in Central and South Asia. It is worn in front of a name.

Etymology
The word maulana has many different meanings. Among the meanings are friend, master, master, assistant, defender; a person who does good things, a person who does some business; neighbor, traveler; descendant, uncle, son of uncle, son of sister, etc. In the plural - mawali [1] .
In the Quran
In the Qur'an, the word mawla in the meaning of the Lord, Master, Helper, Patron is used in relation to Allah [1] .
| Allah does not lay on a man beyond his abilities. He will get what he has acquired, and against him will be what he has gained. Our Lord! Do not punish us if we have forgotten or made a mistake.
