Kevin MacDonald (born October 28, 1967) is a Scottish film director , producer and screenwriter. Best known for working on the films Once Upon a Time in September (1999), Touching the Void (2003), The Last King of Scotland (2006), The Big Game (2009), Marley (2012).

Kevin MacDonald was born on October 28, 1967 in Glasgow , Scotland , UK . Kevin is the grandson of actress Wendy Orm and British director of Hungarian descent Emerih Pressburger .
Kevin was educated at the Scottish boarding school Glenalmond College .
His brother Andrew MacDonald is a producer.
In 1999, Kevin married Tatyana Land, they have three sons, live in North London.
