Azat ( Kaz. Azat ) is a village in the Zerendinsky district of the Akmola region of Kazakhstan . It is part of the Kusepsky rural district. It is located about 77 km north of the center of the village of Zerenda . The KATO code is 115647300 [1] .

In 1999, the population of the village was 652 people (333 men and 319 women) [2] . According to the 2009 census, 537 people lived in the village (282 men and 255 women) [2] .
