Abay ( Kazakh. Abay ) is a village in the Korgalzhyn district of the Akmola region of Kazakhstan . It is part of the Korgalzhyn rural district. The KATO code is 116030200 [1] .

The village of Abay is located on the left bank of the Nura River, about 6 km northeast of the center of the village of Korgalzhyn . Nearby is the highway R-2.
Population
In 1999, the village population was 320 people (212 men and 108 women) [2] . According to the 2009 census, 83 people lived in the village (46 men and 37 women) [2] .
