It is located 32 km southwest of the city of Torzhok . Bogatkovo is 24 km away (via Mikhailovo , Voropuni and Bernovo ). Strashevichi is 5 km away.
South of the village is the Rachaina River.
The population according to the 2002 census is 21 people, 10 men, 11 women.
History
In 1859, in the owner’s village of Filitovo, Staritsky Uyezd 41 yards, 461 residents [1] . In 1886, there were 88 yards in the village, 596 inhabitants; it enters the Strashevsky volost and belongs to the Strashevsky parish .
In 1940, the village of Filitovo center of the Filitov village council of the Vysokovsky district of the Kalinin region . There is a collective farm, a school, a club.
In 1997 - 21 households, 34 residents.
