One of the initiators of the foundation of the first national museum in Vinnitsa (1919-1932), now the Vinnitsa Museum of Local Lore [2] .

Biography
Born on August 2, 1876 in the city of Litin, Podolsk province of the Russian Empire (now - Vinnytsia region , Ukraine ).
In 1899-1901 he studied at the Odessa Art College .
In 1905-1912 - a free student of the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts . The title of artist for the painting "Storm and Peace" was awarded.
From 1921 to 1923 - Director of the Vinnitsa Art Museum. Donated to the museum fund his collection of coins, books and paintings.
Since 1925 he lived in Yekaterinoslav (now the Dnieper ).
He died on September 15, 1932 in Leningrad .
He lived in Leningrad at the address - Vasilyevsky Island , 6th line, 37. [3]
