Alexey Petrovich Lazarev (1793 - after 1851) - Russian naval commander and navigator, rear admiral (1839). The younger brother of M.P. Lazarev and A.P. Lazarev .

He graduated from the Marine Corps in 1809. Officer of the Baltic Fleet and Life Guards of the Izmailovsky Regiment. Member of the Russian-Turkish wars of 1806-1812 and 1828-1829
In the years 1819-23. the lieutenant on the sloop “Well-intentioned” sailed around the world, twice through the Bering Strait passed into the Chukchi Sea . He made a description of this voyage - "Notes on the sailing of the well-intentioned military sloop in the Bering Strait and around the world for discoveries in 1819, 1820, 1821 and 1822, kept by the guards crew by Lieutenant A. P. Lazarev."
In 1823, sailed from Kronstadt to Iceland . In 1828, the captain-lieutenant participated in the blockade of the Dardanelles .
Captain of the 2nd rank since 1829, since 1833 the commander of the 26th naval crew and the Konstantin ship, captain of the 1st rank since 1834 and since 1835 - the 12th naval crew and the Memory of Azov ship.
Since 1839, Rear Admiral, commander of the Astrakhan port and the Caspian flotilla. From 1842 to 1848, retired. In 1850 he was appointed the Kerch-Yenikalsky mayor. On November 7, 1851, retired.
He was awarded the orders of St. Vladimir 3 and 4 degrees, St. Anna 2, 3 tbsp. and the Order of St. George 4 degrees.
Wife (from April 23, 1830) - Maria Alexandrovna Beck (1810-1834), sister of the poet Ivan Beck . Widowed, married Golokhvastova Vera Nikolaevna.
The son (from the 1st wife) is Alexander Alekseevich Lazarev (05/06/1831 [1] -?), The godson of Nicholas I, in 1872-1885 the leader of the nobility of the Zhizdrinsky district .
Three more children died in infancy.
