Right Ptysh ( Georgian მარჯვენა პტიში [ Margjvena Ptishi ]) is a village in Abkhazia , in the Gulrypsh region of the partially recognized Republic of Abkhazia , according to the administrative division of Georgia , in the Gulripshsky municipality of the Abkhaz Autonomous Republic [1] on the banks of the Chkhalta River (Atsgara) .

Population
In 1959, 209 people lived in the village of Margjvena Ptishi (Right Ptysh), mostly Georgians (in the Azhara village council as a whole - 3239 people, also mostly Georgians) [3] [4] . In 1989, 9 people lived in the village [5] , also mostly Georgians ( Svans ) [6] . According to the Georgian census of 2002, 58 people lived in the village of Right Ptysh (at the time of the census controlled by the Georgian authorities) [2] .
