Turgai ( Kazakh. Torғai ) is a village in the Yereymentau district of the Akmola region of Kazakhstan . The administrative center of the Turgai rural district. Located about 30 km northwest of the city center of Yereymentau . The KATO code is 114659100 [1] .

Population
In 1999, the village population was 1,597 people (747 men and 850 women) [2] . According to the 2009 census, 1224 people lived in the village (624 men and 600 women) [2] .
