| Screenwriters Sean and Beverly Lincoln decide to create an American version of their own sitcom Lyman's Boys , which was a great success in the UK. To this end, they arrive in Los Angeles , where they meet with the famous producer Merck Lapidus. Also, Sean and Beverly offer the main role in their series, called Pucks! , the famous British actor Julian Ballard. But they soon find out that Merck did not see a single episode of their sitcom, and another actor, Matt LeBlanc, was chosen to play the main role instead of Ballard. | ||||||||
