Vladimir Grigorievich Fedorov ( Ukrainian: Fedorov Volodimir Grigorovich ; June 10, 1939 , Kursk Region - December 9, 2011 , Moscow ) - economic and party leader of the Ukrainian SSR , Ukrainian statesman and diplomat.

Biography

Born in with. Nikolskoye Solntsevsky district of the Kursk region in a family of peasants.

Education

Higher education.

  • He graduated from the Kharkov Institute of Mechanization and Electrification of Agriculture (1962).
  • He graduated from the correspondence Higher Party School under the Central Committee of the CPSU .

Activities

He began his career in 1956 as an assistant to the collective farm leader.

Since 1962, he has been working as a senior engineer, head of a workshop, chief engineer, manager of the Chernyakhovsk regional association "Agricultural equipment" of the Zhytomyr region .

  • 1967-1970 - Head of Chernyakhovsky District Department of Agriculture,
  • 1970-1973 - First Secretary of the Volodarsk-Volyn District Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine of the Zhytomyr Region,
  • 1973-1977 - First Secretary of the Novograd-Volyn City Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine of the Zhytomyr Region,
  • 1977-1984 - Secretary of the Zhytomyr Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine,
  • 1984-1985 - Advisor to the Council of Ministers of the Ukrainian SSR ,
  • 1985-1988 - Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Volyn Regional Council,
  • 1988-1989 - Head of the Department of Party Building and Personnel Work of the CPSU Central Committee,
  • 1989-1991 - First Secretary of the Zhytomyr Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine, at the same time Chairman of the Zhytomyr Regional Council,
  • 1991-1992 - Permanent Representative of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on foreign economic and cultural relations in Moscow,
  • 1992-1995 - Advisor-Envoy, Trade Representative, Embassies of Ukraine in the Russian Federation, Chargé d'Affaires of Ukraine in the Russian Federation.
  • 1995-1999 - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Russia .
  • 1999−2006 - First Deputy Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee.

A participant in the liquidation of the consequences of the Chernobyl accident (1986). Member of the Central Committee of the CPSU (1990-1991).

He died on December 9, 2011 in Moscow. He was buried in Moscow at the Troekurovsky cemetery [1] .
