Story
The grief-misfortune in human form wanders around the world, alternately accompanying unlucky people. They would be happy to get rid of it, but it’s impossible to drive Mountain away just like that. You can get rid of it only by deceit, giving in addition to any thing sold. The Woe-Happiness itself, having acquired a new owner, immediately willingly talks about this method. Noting that things went wrong, each owner of Happiness hurries to get rid of him.
Soon Gore reaches King Dormidont. The treasury is emptying, neighboring kingdoms declare war, servants, troops and even the royal daughter leave the palace. Without thinking twice, the Tsar decides to transfer the Mountain to the soldier Ivan - the only one who remained in the service. Ivan is offered to buy a ring, a sword, even a crown, but a conscientious soldier refuses everything. Finally, the Tsar finds an item that may interest Ivan - this is a snuffbox.
The soldier goes to war, and on the road discovers Gore next to him. However, Ivan does not twist, and even once - goes on a hike. Grief understands that there is nothing for him to profit from, and teaches Ivan how to get rid of him, Grief. But he does not want to act by deception, but decides to get rid of the royal "gift" in a different way ...
