Sammer Elizabeth Sanders ( born Summer Elisabeth Sanders ; October 13, 1972 , Rosville , California , USA ) is an American swimmer , two-time Olympic champion in 1992, and the 1991 world champion. Specialized in butterfly swimming and integrated swimming.

Biography
Born October 13, 1972 in Rosville ( California , USA ) in the family of Bob and Barbara Sanders. Summer has an older brother - Trevor Sanders.
Summer began her career as a swimmer in 1988 and by the beginning of the 1990s she had won many prizes in various olympiads. After leaving sports, she became a sports commentator.
In 1997-2001, Summer was married to swimmer Mac Henderson (born 1969).
Since July 30, 2005, Summer has been married for the second time to the winner of the Alpine Skiing World Championship, Eric Schlopi (born 1972). In this marriage, Sanders gave birth to two children - the daughter of Sky Bella Slopie (born April 21, 2006) and the son of Robert Charles Spider Slop (born January 15, 2008) [1] .
