The Visitor is the nineteenth studio album of British rock band UFO , released in 2009 .

Before recording the album due to health problems, bassist Pete Way left the band. Instead, Peter Pichl was invited, who, however, did not become an official member of the group.

Vocal parts, drums and bass were recorded at Area 51 Studios. Winnie Moore's guitar parts are recorded on The Core. All keyboard parts and rhythm guitar parts in the songs “On the Waterfront”, “Forsaken”, “Villians & Thieves” were recorded by Paul Raymond in RMS Studio.

The album was released in three different versions: CD , LP and digipack . The digipack edition also includes a bonus track, a re-recorded version of Dancing With St. Peter ”from the album of the same name by Phil Mogg’s musical project $ ign of 4. ^[1]

This is the first UFO album since Misdemeanor to hit the UK chart.
