The Church of St. George the Victorious (Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos) on Pskov Hill is an Orthodox church of the Iberian deanery of the Moscow diocese .

The temple is located in the district of Tverskaya , the Central Administrative District of Moscow ( Varvarka St., 12). The main throne is consecrated in honor of the feast of the Protection of the Holy Virgin ; chapels in honor of St. George , in honor of St. Peter , Metropolitan of Moscow .
History
The five-domed church of St. George the Victorious was built in 1658. In 1818, the refectory and the bell tower were added to it, sharply contrasting with the main building of the church because of its pseudo-Gothic style .
