Geography
The village is located 4 km from the administrative center of the village of Senkova , 9 km from the city of Gorlice and 108 km from Krakow .
History
Initially, the village was called Ropitsa Ruska. In 1934 it was renamed Ropitsa-Senkovsk. Until 1947, Lemki [1] lived in the village, who were resettled during the Vistula operation in western Poland.
In 1949, the village became known as Ropitsa Gurna.
From 1978 to 1998, the village was administratively part of the Novosonchensk Voivodeship.
Attractions
- The Greek Catholic Church of St. Michael the Archangel, dating from the beginning of the 19th century;
