Myrmozercon scutellatus (lat.) Is a species of myrmecophilic ticks of the Laelapidae family from the order Mesostigmata ( Dermanyssoidea , Dermanyssina ). Western Australia The length of the back shield is 0.7 mm. Hetotaxia monotonous, marginal setae long. Associated with ants of the genus Iridomyrmex ( Hymenoptera ) [2] [3] .
