The list of mammals listed in the Red Book of Kyrgyzstan includes 23 species. The original decision of the Government of Kyrgyzstan in 2005 contained 26 species, but in 2009 three were excluded: yellow gopher ( lat. Spermophilus fulvus ), reed cat ( lat. Felis chaus ) and jerboa Vinogradov ( lat. Allactaga vinogradovi ) [1] .
