Eddy Cue (born 1963 or 1964) is Apple 's senior vice president of software. Kew is of Cuban descent and raised in Florida . He studied computer science and business at Duke University. Kew played a huge role in the creation of the Apple online store in 1998, the iTunes music store in 2003, and the App Store in 2008 [1] . In November 2012, Eddie headed the map development department [2] and Siri software [3] , replacing Scott Forstall on this post. In November 2012, Eddie Kew joined the board of directors of the automobile company Ferrari [4] .
