History
In September 1949, Pakistan opened an embassy in Manila , the Philippine embassy was opened in Karachi in 1956. In May 1957, Pakistani Prime Minister Hussein Shahid Suhrawardi became the first state leader to pay an official visit to the Philippines. In July 1962, Philippine President Diosdado Macapagal paid an official visit to Pakistan.
Economic Relations
