Nikola Pasic Square ( Serb. Trg Nicole Pashiћa ) is one of the Belgrade squares located in the city center. It is located between Terasiye Square , King Alexander Boulevard and Decan Street. The square is the youngest in Belgrade, it was built in 1953 . Its construction began after the Second World War , when, by decision of the city authorities, the old buildings and the fence of the People’s Assembly building were demolished, and the tram tracks were moved. According to the then existing project, this part of the city was supposed to be closed to vehicles and turned into a walking place for residents of the capital.

The square is named after the former mayor of the city and the head of the government of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes Nikola Pasic . Initially, the square was named after the Square of Marx and Engels, but in 1997 the city Assembly voted to change the name. At the same time, the surrounding streets were renamed. The Boulevard of the Revolution became the Boulevard of King Alexander, and the Street of Moshi Piyade became Decanska. The monument to Pasic in the square was erected in 1998 .

The main part of the square is occupied by fountains located in front of the Historical Museum of Serbia. Its other parts are divided between the pedestrian zone and the roadway.
