Content
Story
The cross-cutting plot in the film is missing. In some episodes, the great Flemish artist Peter Brueghel explains to his philanthropist Nikolaes Jongelink the compositional structure of his painting “ The Way to Calvary ”. Other episodes are a film interpretation of some images of the characters of the canvas.
