Nosretabad ( Persian نصرتآباد ) is a rural settlement in the northwest of Iran , in the province of Qazvin . It is part of the Elborz shahrestan .

Geography
The village is located in the central part of the province, near the city of Elwend , at a distance of about 12 kilometers southeast of Qazvin , the provincial capital and 105 km northwest of Tehran , the country's capital. The absolute height is 1214 meters above sea level [1] .

According to the 2006 census, the population of Nosretabad was 13,090 people [2] .
