Ararat Aramaisovich Ogadzhanyan (b. May 29, 1968 ) - politician of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic .

Biography

Ararat Oghajanyan was born on May 29, 1968 in the village of Sos, Martuni district of NKR . He graduated in 1985 from a secondary school in the village of Sos. In the same year, he entered the faculty of dentistry at the Medical Institute of Baku . From 1986-88 he served in the ranks of the Soviet army. When the Karabakh crisis began in 1988, Ogadzhanyan continued his studies at the Department of Dentistry of the Yerevan Medical Institute , which he graduated in 1992.

After graduation, Ogadzhanyan returned to his native Artsakh (Karabakh), participated in defensive battles against the Azerbaijani troops. In 1992-94 worked in a military hospital in the Mardakert region as an anesthetist. In 1994-97. worked at the NKR Oncology Center. In 1997-98 worked in the republican hospital as a unit of ICU. In 1998-2003 He was the deputy chief physician for medical treatment at the republican hospital. In 2003, he studied at the Moscow Institute of Transplantation, having retrained as a nephrologist in the hemodialysis department. In 2004, with his direct participation, a hemodialysis department was opened in a republican hospital. In 2007, he was appointed Executive Director of the Republican Hospital CJSC, working part-time as an anesthetist-resuscitator.

On May 23, 2010, at the 5th parliamentary elections of the National Assembly, the NKR was elected as a deputy according to the proportional lists of the Free Motherland party. Member of the Commission on Social Issues, and since 2012 on Health. In 2015, he was elected to the NKR Parliament of the VI convocation, Deputy Chairman of the Commission on Social Issues and Health. Party member Azat Ayrenik ("Free Homeland"). Member of the Presidium of the Party Azat Ayrenik . Member of the fraction "Homeland".

Married, has 4 children. He was awarded the Vachagan Barepasht medal.
