Biography and Activity
Born on September 26, 1963 in the city of Martakert, NKR . In 1980 he graduated from secondary school N 1 of the city of Martakert.
- From 1983-1985 served in the ranks of the Soviet army.
- In 1993 he graduated from the Sayat-Nova Music School of the city of Stepanakert.
- In 1993 he graduated from the Yerevan Pedagogical Institute named after Abovyan - the department of cultural and educational work and methods.
- From 1998–2005 was responsible for the “church-loving” fraternal movement associated with the Armenian Apostolic Church. An active participant in the Artsakh national liberation movement.
- From 1992-1993 was the head of the political department of JSC NKR .
- In 1994, he was elected deputy of the Supreme Council of the National Assembly of the NKR of the first convocation in the 7th majority district of the city of Stepanakert.
- On June 19, 2005, in the parliamentary elections, the NKR National Assembly was elected a deputy to the NKR National Assembly of the 4th convocation in the 13th majority district.
- On June 30, 2005, at the first plenary meeting, he was elected as the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly.
- On May 23, 2010 he was elected a deputy in the parliamentary elections of the NKR National Assembly of the fifth convocation in the 9 majoritarian district of the city of Stepanakert.
Member of the Standing Committee on External Relations.
Party member Azat Hayrenik “Free Motherland”, member of the presidium and member of the Motherland faction.
He was awarded the medal "For Courage".
He is married and has 5 children.
