Gimme Some Truth ( by the name of the song ) is a box set with songs by John Lennon , released by EMI Records on October 5, 2010 , to the 70th anniversary of Lennon. The box set is composed of four discs, the set of songs on each of which is determined by a separate topic (according to the names of famous Lennon songs): “Working Class Hero” (“Hero of the working class”) - songs on socio-political themes; "Woman" ("Woman") - songs about love; “Borrowed Time” - songs about life; "Roots" ("Roots") - songs on which Lennon learned to play and compose rock and roll songs, as well as influencing him [2] . All songs published on the box set were remastered again. At the same time, a compilation was released with the most popular Lennon songs from the box set called Power to the People: The Hits .
