Story

The life of Vasily Chapaev , starting from the age of 18 when he fled from home, his participation in the First World War and the Civil War , until his death in 1919.

The film is an adaptation of the book of Eduard Volodarsky “Passion for Chapay” [2] . The number of blunders in the script goes through the roof (which is worth the fact that at the same time historical events occur, spaced apart by weeks and often in reverse chronological order), the film version added them even more.
