In 1495, Fyodor Grigorievich Ochin-Pleshcheev accompanied as grandfather the Grand Duke of Moscow Ivan III Vasilyevich , his son Vasily Ivanovich and grandson Dmitry Ivanovich as a bailiff on their trip to Veliky Novgorod .

In 1541, F. G. Ochin-Pleshcheyev served as viceroy in Putivl , from where he sent the watchman Gavrila Tolmach to the Field, who found there the Sakmas of the 100-thousandth Tatar army going to the campaign on the Russian lands, and sent a report to Moscow about it.
