Julio Javier Marchan ( Spanish: Julio Javier Marchant ; born January 11, 1980 in Santiago del Estero , Argentina ) is an Argentine footballer , right-wing midfielder known for playing for the Nacional and Defensor Sporting clubs. Two- time Libertadores Cup winner.

Career

Marchand is a graduate of the Boca Juniors Football Academy. In 2000, he made his debut in the main club. In his first season, he became the champion of Aperture 2000. In the same year, he won the Libertadores Cup with Boka, and a year later repeated his success. In 2002, he lost his place in the main club and was sold to Racing from Avellaneda . In Racing, as in his next club, Union , he very rarely went on the field, so in 2004 Julio went to Europe , where he signed a contract with the Portuguese Nacional . In the new club he immediately won a place at the base and for two seasons he was one of the key players of the team. In 2007, Marchand moved to the Mexican Necaxa with a short-term contract with the club. He played for the new team only in the 2007 Libertadores Cup.

In the second half of 2007, Julio moved to the Uruguayan Defensor Sporting , in which he won the Uruguayan Example 2008. In the summer of 2009, Marshan was leased to the Argentinean Banfield . On August 24, in a match against River Plate , he made his debut for a new team [1] . In the same season, Julio won the championship of Argentina for the second time in his career.
