Population
According to the statistical compilation "Rural settlements of the Yaroslavl region on January 1, 2007", 3 people live in the village of Kadino [1] . According to the topographic map of 1975, 5 people lived in the village [3] .
Geography
The village is located in the north-east of the region, near the border with the Tutaevsky district . It is located at a distance of about 500 m south-west of the Yaroslavl - Rybinsk railway , in the middle of the stretch from the Vaulovo railway station to the Chizhovo platform, there is a railway post near the village on the railway. On the other side of the railway is the Tutaevsky district. The village stands on a small field surrounded by forests. A brook begins on this field in the swamp, which crosses the railway under the bridge heading north-east. Perhaps this particular watercourse is the source of the Edom River. Kadino is located at a distance of about 3 km north of a large village, the center of the rural settlement of Varegovo . At first, a 2 km long country road leads to the village from Mitino , which leads to the highway next to the Mitino village from the Lom railway station to Varegovo [3] .
History
The village of Kadina is indicated on the plan of the General Land Survey of Borisoglebsky Uyezd in 1792. In 1825, Borisoglebsky district was merged with Romanovsky district . According to 1859, the village belonged to the Romanovo-Borisoglebsky district [4] .
