Geography

The village is located in the north-east of the region, near the border with the Tutaevsky district . It is located at a distance of about 500 m south-west of the Yaroslavl - Rybinsk railway , in the middle of the stretch from the Vaulovo railway station to the Chizhovo platform, there is a railway post near the village on the railway. On the other side of the railway is the Tutaevsky district. The village stands on a small field surrounded by forests. A brook begins on this field in the swamp, which crosses the railway under the bridge heading north-east. Perhaps this particular watercourse is the source of the Edom River.
