According to the statistical compilation “Rural settlements of the Yaroslavl region as of January 1, 2007”, 3 people live in the village of Esipovo [1] .
Geography
The village is located in the eastern part of the district, southeast of the Varegov swamp near the border with the Tutaevsky district . It stands about 2 km north of the highway from Yaroslavl to the regional center of Bolshoye Selo , between the villages on this road: Glebovo , located to the south-west, and Zaluzhie , located in the southeast already in Tutaevsky district. Between Esipovo and the road 2 km south of Esipovo is the village of Potochelovo. The village stands on a hillside descending north from the highway to the Pecgda River Valley. Here, along the slope, there is a field surrounded by forests, along which stands a series of villages. At a distance of 1 km west of Esipovo are the villages of Kayurovo and Nechayki , at a distance of about 2 km to the south-east of Ivanishchevo , also in the Tutaevsky district [3] .
