Population
According to the statistical compilation “Rural settlements of the Yaroslavl region as of January 1, 2007”, there are no permanent residents in the village of Golovinskoye [1] .
Geography
The village is located in the north of the district, near the border with the Rybinsk district , on the left bank of the Cheryemuhi river. This is the last village of the Bolsheselsky district down the left bank of Cheryomukha. At a distance of 2 km to the north, downstream there is the village of Seltso-Voskresenskoye , which is already in the Rybinsk district. The village of Ilyinskoye directly adjoins Golovinsky from the south, and behind it at a short distance is the village of Elokhovo . These three settlements are located on the outer side of the Cheryemuha bend, and on the opposite bank inside the bend is the village of Demidovo . All four settlements are located on one field surrounded by forests, on which there is also the village of Basalaevo , standing off the river at a distance of 1.5 ki south-west of Golovinsky [3] .
