Population
According to the statistical compilation “Rural Settlements of the Yaroslavl Region as of January 1, 2007”, there are no permanent residents in the village of Brevino [1] .
Geography
The village is located in the southeastern part of the district, in the upper reaches of the Yukhot River. The village stands northwest of the Karachunovsky swamp, through which Yukhot flows. At a distance of about 1 km west of Brevino is the village of Nikifortsevo . Both villages stand on one field surrounded by forest. 2 km south-east of Brevino, behind the forest, stands the village of Doronino , near which is the source of Yukhoti. To the north of the village is a peat mining area [3] .
