Content
History
From 1560 to 1642, La Chapelle was part of the Sedan Principality . During the Great French Revolution, La Chapelle was called Bel-er-o-Bois ( fr. Bel-Air-aux-Bois ).

Economy
In 2007, among 111 people of working age (15–64 years old), 78 were economically active , 33 were inactive (activity rate was 70.3%, in 1999 it was 72.9%).
