Amateur career
In 2005, Conseisan took part in the national championship for the first time (in the weight category up to 51 kg), and won gold. In 2006, he finished second in the Brazilian championship in featherweight (-54 kg), in 2007, third in the first lightweight (-57 kg).

2009 Conceisao took part in the US Championship for the first time and won. At the World Championships in the same year, he lost in the first fight to Cuban, Yasniel Toledo (21: 7). In 2009, he won gold in the Brazilian Championship. Took part in the Pan American Games, in the third round won the Mexican, Oscar Valdez .
Conceiçao won silver at the 2011 Pan American Games after defeating Dominican Wellington Arias (18:11), American Toka Kan-Clari (21: 6) and Puerto Rican Angel Suarez (27: 8), and in the final lost to Cuban Lazaro Alvarsu (19: 15).
At the 2011 World Championships, Conseisan, defeating Pole Michal the Wonderful (16: 7) and Briton Martin Ward (21:20), entered the second round, in which he met with the famous boxer from Ukraine, Vasily Lomachenko . Lomachenko was much more active in the battle, especially in the third round, and sent Conseissan three times in a knockdown, but the referee counted only one, and made comments in every way to the Ukrainians. Because of prejudiced refereeing, Conseisan was awarded the victory, but the Ukrainian team protested right there, and after a detailed analysis of the battle, they deservedly awarded Lomachenko, albeit with a close decision (19:18) [1] [2] [3] .
In 2012, Robson won the Brazilian Lightweight Championship.
In 2013, he took part in the World Boxing Championship in Almaty. In the semifinals won the Italian, Domenico Valentino , and in the final lost to Cuban Lazaro Alvarez and won the silver medal.
In 2015 at the World Championships in Doha, losing in the semifinals to Albert Selimov ( Azerbaijan ), he won a bronze medal.
At the 2016 Olympic Home Games in Rio de Janeiro , he achieved the greatest success by becoming an Olympic champion.
After the Olympics, Conseisan signed a contract with well-known American promoter Bob Arum, and debuted in a professional ring on November 5, defeating American junior Clay Burns by unanimous decision in a four-round bout.
Professional career
He made his debut in the professional ring on November 5, 2016 in the second featherweight category (up to 59 kg).
