History
The college was founded in September 1877 as the Yekaterinburg Medical School on the orders of the Governor, which by 1918 already met the standards that were possible at that time. In this regard, the government planned to transfer the school to Perm, which at that time was developing faster than Sverdlovsk. Local authorities were able to defend it [1] .

On June 21, 1991, by order of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, the school was transformed into the Sverdlovsk Regional Basic Medical College.
In 1999, the Sverdlovsk Regional College of Continuing Education of secondary medical workers was attached to the Sverdlovsk Regional Medical College [8] .
