(358) Apollonia ( Greek: Ἀπολλωνία ) is a typical asteroid of the main belt , which is characterized by slow rotation around its axis. It was discovered on March 8, 1893 by the French astronomer Auguste Charlois at the Nice Observatory and named after the port of Apollonia of Illyria , the largest ancient Greek port in Illyria [1] .
