Located on the banks of the Ogowe River, northeast of the city of Lambarene . The absolute height is 110 meters above sea level [2] .

Economy and Transport
The city's economy is based on the forest industry. In addition, Njole is an important transportation center. The Transgabone railway passes through the city, as well as the national highway No. 2. Ndzhele is the final point on the Ogove river, where barges reach. Immediately above the city on the river there are rapids.
