Melysesses

The Melisses Group was established in May 2008 . In 2010, Melisses took part in the Greek national selection for the Eurovision song contest ^[1] . Soon after, Mystiko's first album was released, and the group won the Mad Video Music Awards in the category "Best New Artist" ^[2] .

In September 2011, the second album “Άκου” (“Listen”) was released, which included 11 new songs, including Ivi Adam ’s summer hit “Κράτα τα μάτια σου κλειστ” (“Keep your eyes closed”) ^[3] . The album was a great success and quickly became golden ^[4] . In early 2012, Melisses recorded the new single “O, τι Άφηνες Μισό”, directed by Alex Konstantinidis, shot a video for this song ^[5] .

In May 2012, the group was nominated for the award in five nominations Mad Video Music Awards 2012, namely: “The Best Rock Music Video Clip”, “Best Group”, “Artist of the Year”, “Collaboration” (“Κράτα τα μάτια σου κλειστά” with Ivi Adam), Mad radio 106.2 track of the year ^[6] . In the end, the group received an award in the nomination “Best Rock Video Clip” for the song “Σαν Σκιά” (“Like a Shadow”) ^[7] .

On June 5, 2012, the shooting of the video clip for the song “Πίκι Πίκι!” From the album “завершκου” was completed. Director Alex Konstantinidis shot the video using many special effects and a great deal of humor ^[8] . In the winter of 2012 - 2013, the group performed in the Sakis Rouvas show on the stage of Diogenis Studio ^[9] .
