Mitsubishi Paper Mills, Ltd ( Japanese 三菱 製 紙 株式会社 Mitsubishi Seishi Kabushiki-gaisha ) is a division of the Mitsubishi Group , a Japanese manufacturer of paper and photosensitive materials. Founded in 1898 as “Kobe Paper Mills, Co.”, in 1917 it was renamed “Mitsubishi Paper Mills, Ltd.”

The company is one of the five largest Japanese manufacturers of paper products for printers and copy machines, along with the companies Nippon Paper, Daio Paper Corp., Oji Paper Co. and Hokuetsu Paper Mills Ltd. .
As of 2012, the company owns ten factories: six in Japan, two in Germany, one in Mexico and one in China, and three research centers in Japan .
