Geography
The village is located west of the village of Vysova-Zdroj, 7 km from Usse- Gorlice , 21 km from Gorlice and 109 km from Krakow .
History
The first mention of the village of Ropki dates back to 1581, when it was the property of Adam Brzezinski. In 1610, the first church was built in the village. In 1801, the Greek Catholic Church of the Nativity of the Virgin was built, which was disassembled in the 50s of the XX century and transported to the Museum of Folk Architecture in Sanok .
In the village of World War II, there lived Lemoki [1] , who in 1946-1947 were resettled during the Vistula operation in the western territories of Poland.
Religion
Since 1999, in the village of Ropki there is a meditation house of the Polish Buddhist Union.
Tourism
There are tourist recreation centers in the village. Several hiking trails pass through the village.
