Biography
Born in the village of Pesochnoye, Shuisky district, Vladimir province (now Ivanovo district , Ivanovo region ). At the age of 15, he left for Ivanovo-Voznesensk (now Ivanovo ) and got a job at the I. Garelin factory. He began to attend local revolutionary circles and in 1897 was admitted to the "Workers' Union".
In the summer of 1897, Zharov was arrested, but due to lack of evidence he was released. In 1898 he was one of the organizers of the May Day in the forest near the city. In 1899, the city committee of the RSDLP was sent to Orekhovo-Zuevo . After returning to Ivanovo-Voznesensk arranged a library of illegal literature. August 12, 1900 was imprisoned in Vladimir prison for 6 months, and in December 1901 in St. Petersburg "Crosses" . Released two years later.
During the Ivanovo-Ascension strike in 1905, Polushin was elected to the Ivanovo-Ascension Council of Workers' Deputies from the factory. In the same year, Zharov was fired from the factory and he left for Pesochnoe, then returned to Ivanovo-Voznesensk and at the end of 1906 got a job at the Kuvaev factory.
After the February Revolution he became head of the factory committee. Under his leadership, a Red Guard detachment was organized at the factory. In May 1918, the RCP was sent to Avdotinsky volost of the Shuysky district. There he is elected chairman of the executive committee. In November, he received the post of food commissar of Ivanovo-Voznesensky district. He worked in this position until 1922. In the 20s, he worked in the leadership of the provincial forest department and the provincial administration, was the chairman of the provincial industrial union.
In 1929 he was sent to Moscow, where he led the Vsekooples Union, a textile association under the All-Union Trade Union. He was a member of some district committees of the CPSU of Moscow. He died on April 9, 1955.
