Geography

Located on the shores of several lakes: Kaksarly , Kamyshevo, Safakulevo. The distance to the railway station Shchuchye (on the line Chelyabinsk - Kurgan ) is 32 km. The distance to the regional center ( Kurgan city) is 210 km.

History

Founded in 1782. According to the legend, the village is obliged to the first settler Safa Yumagulov, whose name is named Safakul lake, which in Russian means “Safa lake”. Actually it comes from the name of the lake Safakul, “saf” - clean, transparent, “kul” - lake, that is, clear lake.

Mostly Tatars (60%), Russians (23.9%) and Bashkirs (15.2%) live in the village . Most of the indigenous population - the Tatars and Bashkirs. Tatars are carriers of the Safakulevsky dialect of the middle dialect of the Tatar language. This adverb is different in that it is based on the Western, Mishar dialect, but under the influence of its neighbors (Siberian Tatars and Bashkirs) Mishar features were leveled. Bashkirs speak the eastern dialect of the Bashkir language.

Safakulevsky Village Council

  • Established in 1919 in Karasevsky parish, Chelyabinsk district
  • By the decrees of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee of November 3 and 12, 1923, the Sart-Kalmyk region was formed as part of the Chelyabinsk district of the Ural region of the RSFSR , with the center in the village of Sulyuklino . It consisted of 15 village councils, including the Safakulevsky village council.
  • By the Decree of the Presidium of Uraloblispolkom on April 7, 1924, the Sart-Kalmyk region was renamed Yalansky with the transfer of the center to the village of Martynovka .
  • By the decree of the Presidium of Uraloblispolkom on September 15, 1926, the district center was moved to p. Safakulyovo. The transfer was approved by the Resolution of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee on November 4, 1926.
  • By the Decree of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee of April 20, 1930, the Yalan district was liquidated, most of the territory was transferred to the structure of the Yalan-Kataysky district with the center in Safakulevo.
  • By the resolution of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee of January 17, 1931, the Yalan-Kataysky district became part of the educated Chelyabinsk region .
  • By decrees of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR of November 12 and December 17, 1940, the Yalano-Kataysky district was abolished, the territory was divided between the Almenevsky and Safakulevsky districts.
  • By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR of February 6, 1943, the Safakulevsky District became part of the educated Kurgan Region .
  • By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR of February 1, 1963, the Safakulevsky district was abolished, the territory was transferred to the enlarged Shchuchansky rural area.
  • By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR of January 12, 1965, the Safakulevsky District was re-established.

Currently, the village settlement Safakulevsky village council includes a. Safakulevo and D. Kireevka. The population of 3541 people. (2012).
