Elovo is a village in the Perm Territory , the administrative center of the Elovsky District . Located on the banks of the Kama River, 100 km from the Kueda railway station (on the Sarapul - Druzhinino line ).

It is also the administrative center of the Elovsky rural settlement .
History
It was first mentioned in 1646 as "repair on Spruce". There is a church of Peter and Paul (1891-1900).
In 1962-71, due to the construction of the Votkinsk reservoir, part of the village was flooded and moved (a total of 258 houses).
On November 4, 1965, by a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR, the Elovsky District was formed with its center in the village of Elovo [1]

Economics
An oil and cheese factory, a bakery, a fish factory and other enterprises operated in the village.
