Geography
The village is located 13 km from the district center and 7 km from the Tavla railway station.
History
On the territory of the village, archaeologists discovered the remains of a settlement of the Bronze Age, as well as antique dishes with a stigma dating back to the 2nd century. BC e.
It was founded in 1946 under the name of the village Zhdanovstroy of the Volnovakhsky district of the Stalin region. In 1956, the village was renamed the urban-type settlement Donskoye.
Population
Number - 5340 people. ( 2001 year ). In 1959 - 2.6 thousand people, in 1970 - 4.3 thousand people, in 1979 - 4.3 thousand people, in 1989 - 5.6 thousand people, in 1992 - 5, 8 thousand people, in 1999 - 5.7 thousand people, in 2011 - 5.132 people.
Infrastructure
The village has a secondary school, a kindergarten, a cultural center, three libraries, a hospital, a post office, and a number of shops.
