Turkmenbashi ( Turkmen. Türkmenbasy ) is an urban-type settlement in the Turkmenbashi district of the Balkan province , Turkmenistan . The village is located off the coast of the Caspian Sea . In the village is the Gyusha railway station (on the Ashgabat -Krasnovodsk line).

The status of an urban-type settlement since 1940. Until 1993, it was called Djanga .
Under the BSE data, the Dzhanga building materials plant, crushed stone plant, asphalt plant, and the Tugra wet wipes factory operated [1] .
Currently, a modern sports complex has been built, as well as cultural and entertainment complexes, such as the Palace of Art, recreation parks, etc. Roads and sidewalks have been repaired. Particular attention is paid to the landscaping and welfare of the village. Travel time by road to the city of Turkmenbashi takes about 10-15 minutes.
