Geography
The village is located on the island of Ostrovsky in the delta of the Northern Dvina .
History
In 1924, the Pustoshinsky Village Council of Workers, Peasants and Red Army Deputies of the Podgorodnaya volost of the Arkhangelsk district of the Arkhangelsk province was formed . In 1955, the village of Solitude became the center of the Pustoshinsky Village Council of the Primorsky District of the Arkhangelsk Region [1] . From 2004 to 2015, the Single was the center of the Pustoshinskoe Municipal Organization [2] .
The law of the Arkhangelsk region dated May 28, 2015 No. 289-17-OZ [3] of the Voznesenskoye , Pustoshinskoe and Lastolsk municipalities were merged into the Ostrovnoye municipal formation, which included Loneliness [4] .
