Plagiometriona flavescens (lat.) Is a species of shield beetle bugs ( Cassidini ) from the leaf beetle family [1] . Endemic to South America: Argentina (Misiones), Brazil (Mato Grosso, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo), Uruguay (Misiones). The shape of the body is flattened. A herbivorous species that feeds on plants of the nightshade family ( Solanaceae : Acnistus spinosus , Solanum sisymbrifolium ; Acnistus arborescens , Aureliana fasciculata ; Vassobia breviflora ; Aureliana fasciculata ) [2] .
