Konalu 29281
A modification of the Konalyu-2928 model was a special armored vehicle that received the modification code “29281”, it was fully armored. In this modification, the reservation was combined: the all-metal body was cooked from titanium sheets, and the standard body parts of the base car were protected from the inside. The degree of protection of such a car was increased to class B-3, the designers were able to maintain the basic technical characteristics of the base machine. The purpose of this modification is to carry out patrol service and to carry out operational measures in conditions of increased danger. [ten]
Konalu-330
Konalu-330 on the UAZ-3962, UAZ-3741 or UAZ-2206 chassis was produced in the modifications “330-20” (machine for transporting valuables) and “330-30” (currency exchange office). The armor protection system of both versions consisted of an armored front lining, walls, windows and doors providing the 2nd level of protection, and the lining of their “shortened” versions - “330-20T” and “330-30T”, based on titanium alloys, - 3rd level of protection. Bulletproof glass blocks corresponded to the 3rd level of protection.
All “armored cars” of the “Konalu-330” series had reinforced door hinges [11] of the cabin, a partition with a sliding door installed between the security compartment and the cargo compartment, as well as a system for providing defensive fire: 6 loopholes in the machine for transporting valuables and 8 in currency exchange office. The total mass of the special vehicle was 2800 kg, the payload was 600 kg. Depending on the configuration of the Konalu and the number of crew, it was possible to carry from 120 to 560 kg of valuables in it. [ten]
Konalu-4828
It was manufactured on the chassis of a Ural-43203-01 truck, first introduced in 1993 at a car show held at the Krasnopresnensky exhibition complex in the capital.
The total mass of the “ armored car ” is 13,275 kg, the payload is 3,830 kg, it was based on a standard body of the Kung type K-4320, which was mass-produced primarily for the needs of the military department, by the Sumerlinsky Special Vehicles Plant. Konalyu-4828 had a full reservation, including the protection of the fuel tank using volumetric and flat hinged panels. The car had three functional compartments, a driver's cab, a security room and a cargo room. The driver’s cabin and the guard room were connected by a passage - this allowed the driver and crew to more effectively carry out tasks to protect values from attack. The design of the armored car implied protection against all types of pistols, smoothbore weapons and an AK-74 assault rifle (class B-4).
The main direction of the use of the “ armored car ” was determined by the use of the base chassis, the Ural-43203-01 , which has extremely high passability. According to the creators, it would be especially valuable for industries related to the extraction of diamonds, gold and other precious metals. Also, the possibility of using such a collection vehicle in cities where large amounts of money was needed from Goznak's printing houses was not ruled out. [12]
