Substantial information from folk tradition about the rulers of villages. Tundakhoy (tonduha) were recorded by N. S. Ivanenkov. I. M. Saidov was able to clarify and supplement this information. According to these data in the fortified villages. Tundakhoy (the village consisted of stone structures) in the 18th century (10 generations ago, as N.S. Ivanenkov points out) was ruled by Al Khalch, the son of Sarka, who united under his command the Cheberloevites.
When the Avar (according to other versions of the Jaya or Georgian) prince tried to impose tribute to the Cheberloevites, Al Khalch refused to fulfill this demand, exclaiming; • We are the royal family of Heraclius ! Ela Khalch Sarkaev had a permanent squad of 63 people and had the right to military support from the subject settlement.
Thanks to this, he achieved a number of victories over neighboring princes, expelled foreign rapists, but turned into a despot over the people. The descendants of Al Khalch apparently inherited the feudal manners of their ancestor, which is why Shamil executed 15 people from the descendants of Al Khalch Sarkaev “for their notable origin [1] .
